Welcome to the Know the Bible ministries Bible Class! After going thru this Bible Class, our contention is that you will be able to NAME every book of the Holy Bible in order & in flow. You will be much more familiar with the location of people, places, and events. Our hope is that people who once refrained from reading the Word of God because they were intimidated by its sheer volume, will now gain a hunger for the bread of heaven and will begin to grow in their walk with the Lord. We do not just give you something to read and hope that you get it. We actually TEACH you and SHOW you how to remember this knowledge forever! To get to know the Lord, you must get to know the Word. The Word is the bread of heaven, ...the Word is Jesus Christ! John 1:1-14, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning...The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us." Revelation 19:13-14, "He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following Him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean." Matthew 7:21-23, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'  John 6:53-58, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever.”   The best way I can explain it is using a picture. Picture a very young person in a dark room facing toward you while sitting on a chair at a small table. They only have a dim candle light beside them on the table with a Bible lying in front of them on the table. The young person then opens the Book and a bright light shines upward into their face from the Book. The child begins to smile as they read the words from the Book. The young person is YOU. The Book is the Holy Bible. You see the very Words of God and consume it in your heart, mind, and soul. During this moment, you only see the words in the Book, yet the Book is actually a one-way mirror with God, Himself, looking right up at YOU! He sees you and He sees His words begin to fill your heart with Jesus Christ. That is the relationship He wants to have with you!    As you see in the quote above in the book of Matthew, many will think they are saved by doing deeds for God in an effort to save their soul. But, God is not really interested in your deeds. He values the relationship you have with Him. He wants you to get to know Him personally! And the way that He provided us to get to know Him is thru His Son, Jesus Christ. And Jesus Christ happens to BE the Word of God. So logically speaking, to get to know God personally; His likes and dislikes; who He is, and what He did for you. You need to grow in your knowledge of God thru the conduit He provided us; thru the Holy Word of the Living God! That is why this ministry and this resource were developed, to help you grow in your relationship with God. May God bless you on your journey!
