That is the logical question people bring up when trying to explain the Biblical account of creation. It is a most fascinating topic that evolutionists have tried to use against God. But, if you really try to find out the truth, you will be shocked and changed as to your perspective on these animals. Dinosaurs which mean "terrible lizards" are actually a great resource to prove the biblical account! Remember, too, that the word, "Dinosaur" did not exist prior to the 19th century. Before the 1870's, they were known by other names usually translated into the word,  "Dragons"! They were known as dragons in every past culture everywhere in the world. Hard evidence exists even today from those cultures showing these things were REAL! There are thousands of 3-dimensional figurines, clay pottery, and cave drawings all over the world.  Egyptian mummies thousands of years old have been found buried with articles and clothing containing pictures of "dinosaurs" or dragons. And then there are the "Ica Stones" that were found in Peru... It takes the native varnish used on the stones more than a thousand years to solidify, and the varnish is in the carvings on the stones thus negating any counterfeiting. This find is truly amazing and there are thousands of them! These Ica Stones have carvings of a variety of dinosaurs and some are depicted interacting WITH man! They illustrate things that man should not know if evolution is true. One of the things that are illustrated is the skin patterns that exist on dinosaurs. They are shown to have circle patterns like scales which we didn't even know until very recently when dinosaur skin was found. Add the fact that they have now found several dinosaurs remains that have not been fossilized at all. They still contain red-blood cells which mean they cannot be millions of years old. They must be very recent! The next topic of conversation should really make you think... The first complete re-construction of a fossilized dinosaur was in 1809 which means that prior to 1809, man would never have known these animals even existed. But, incredibly every civilization and culture of the past knew of these dinosaurs. They just called them a different name. They called them dragons! They have been with us throughout the memory of man! This is logical and it fits with the biblical account as well. The Bible clearly teaches the earth to be about 6,000 years old. That is chronicled in the genealogical record. One of the things that's hard to comprehend today is the long ages people lived described in the Bible. Remember these long ages took place, biblically speaking, only prior to the worldwide flood.  An example of the long ages people once lived is Adam, the first man. From Genesis 5:3-5, "When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth.  After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.  Altogether, Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died." The lifespan of the people prior to the flood are astronomical and hard for us to understand today, but if you take into account the pre-flood conditions being very different than today, it suddenly doesn't sound so fantastical. The Water Canopy Theory explains this. Add the fact that all life prior to the flood grew to enormous sizes. Plants were gigantic! People were giants in those days AND terrible lizards we know as dinosaurs grew to be enormous as well. Remember the Bible states that the people before the flood lived for hundreds of years. If the atmosphere did exist to support life for such long periods of time, reptiles would also live for vast amounts of time as well. What does this mean? Well, consider reptiles NEVER stop growing! Since dinosaurs were reptiles, they never stop growing either. And since they lived for massive amounts of time just like the people in the Bible, they would have grown to colossal sizes! Did you know that ALL animals were gigantic prior to the flood! That would include man, birds, insects, fish, elephants, rhinos...lions, tigers, and bears...oh my! Every living thing was HUGE! So what do we have here? All the actual physical evidence supports the Biblical account contrary to what atheists or evolutionists try to dismiss or even hide all together. The Bible really is God talking to us telling us what happened in the beginning and what is going to happen in the end. He wants us to get to know Him now before it's too late! Seek Him and you shall find Him!
