3. This man is considered Israel’s greatest prophet. His book in the Old Testament has been called the Mini-Bible by many due to the make up of the book. It has 66 chapters; the same number of books in the Holy Bible. It is broken up into two sections. The first section has 39 chapters and it speaks of God’s judgement upon Israel and those nations that defy God. The second part speaks of God’s promise and deliverance for God’s people; it has 27 chapters. Notice the 39 chapters equals the 39 books of the OT; the 27 chapters equals the 27 books of the NT. Which prophet are we talking about?
