Is God pressing upon your heart today? Is belief present where it once
was not? Are you ready to make a decision for Christ? No matter what you have done in the past whether it be drugs,
alcohol, lust, hatred, etc., the blood of Jesus Christ will cover ALL your sins and make you a brand new person
in Jesus Christ. All you have to do is truly believe in Him. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ was for all mankind. It is
a free gift from God. You must accept that gift though. It is not enough to believe that a parachute will save you from
a fall. You must actually put it ON! You will never make a bigger decision in your life. So please follow me now in the sinner’s
prayer:
Before you go to bed this very night, find a place alone and quiet and get down on your knees and pray to God. You do not need to know any pre-conceived prayers or rituals or sayings. You only need to come to Him and speak from the heart. Thank him for saving you. Thank Jesus for taking your sins away and dying on that cross for you. Thank Him for raising from the dead and defeating death once and for all and allowing you a way to be with God forevermore. Ask Jesus to give you guidance and mercy during this new age of your life for you are a newborn child of God. Ask him to forgive you for the sins that you have committed. And from here on out, confess your sins every night so that He may cover them and blot them out forever. Be humble, thankful, and repentant! After that night, begin to read the Word of God (the Holy Bible). You do not have to read it all in one night! Read a chapter or two at a time everyday. Start in the New Testament with the gospel account of the Book of John. Of great importance is to immediately start to learn the 10 Commandments of God in Exodus 20 or Deuteronomy 5. The Law of God is the standard by which every man and woman will be judged. We all fall short of the glory of God. The Commandments bring about the standard of God to our conscience so that we can recognize sin in our lives, avoid it, and seek true repentance when we fall. You must know what the sins are to seek repentance which is a characteristic of a true believer. Go to the 10 Commandments at this website to learn what they are. Everyday learn one of the 10 Commandments which number they are as well (ex. #1 is "Thou shall have no other gods before Me.") Each day recite them in order as you progress. You will know them forever from that time forward. Why is it important to learn which one is which? Because, it is easier to burn them into memory. The next thing that you should do is find a church that honors the Word of God, believes that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Son of God, that He died on the cross, rose from the dead, and is seated at the right hand of God. Go to church as often as you can so as to strengthen your faith and embolden you to share what has happened to you in your life. Share your faith. Tell others what you have found. Your testimony is the best effective witness you can have. Do not be afraid! Be excited. You do not have to make someone believe right at that moment. You may be the planter of the seed, the waterer, or the harvester. You do not know which. Let God do the rest!
